11.15am Workshop #1 (Beginners) Material Girls The 'Joke Doctor' is back to work through material you've brought with you and assist you in the development of new material. There will be the chance for one on one material 'treatment'.

Workshop #1 (Been around a bit) Let's Get Physical For those wanting to tackle character &/or physical comedy. A very practical workshop - no slouchers. BYO track pants.

Workshop #1 (Advanced) It's okay to tell stories Narrative practices - from the descriptive to the shaggy dog, expert standup story-tellers will guide you through making your stories entertaining and funny. BYO material is a must.




12.15pm Forum Oh, the things that you will see An introduction to the different industry types you will encounter from producers to management to venue directors and everything in between.

2.15pm Group Clowning Workshop All in on this one. Professional clown Clare Bartholomew takes a workshop to get everyone out of their comfort zone.




3.00pm Workshop #2 (Beginners) Lights, camera, action! Developing your stagecraft. It's so much more than you, a mic, a light and the audience.

Workshop #2 (Been around a bit) Show us your concepts From 15mins of stand-up to a full show. Where to start, how to use your ideas & material to develop a show.

Workshop #2 (Advanced) Walk a mile in my shoes Writing for others. A guide to comics using your skills to create work beyond your own performance.




4.00pm Forum Life - get it up ya! Female comedians discussing 'the biz', how you juggle it with your personal life, how to take time for the important things and keep it all in perspective.
