Jeez Louise 2004

Jeez Louise - Funny Women's Forum is back. Comedy legend Linda Haggar's brainchild to create a forum for women in comedy will be on again on 3rd - 4th April 2004 presented by The Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Proudly building on the incredible success of Jeez Louise 2002, the Melbourne Comedy Festival invites Australian and visiting comedy Queens (and Princesses) to celebrate and encourage women in comedy in this fabulous 2 day event.

Jeez Louise 2002 encouraged gutsy and creative women to get on stage and give it a go. In the process, the comedy careers of some of Australia's most promising up-and-coming comics was launched (including National RAW Comedy Winner 2003, Nelly Thomas and numerous other finalists from various states).

In 2004 we're discussing gals in the industry and workshopping new talent to find the funny ladies of the future.
